Jávea Players: Are you a Beauty or a Beast?
Auditions open in early September for a production that will be performed next May in Gata.
The Javea Players are about to open auditions for the musical ‘Beauty and the Beast’ which will be performed next May in the Gata Theatre and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill the roles, not only the main roles but also ten other solo parts plus the ensemble cast.
Apart from Beauty and the Beast, there are ten other solo parts plus the more the merrier for the ensemble cast, including wolves, enchanted objects and townspeople. The storyline is that a young prince is cast under a spell which can only be broken with true love. Through many ups and downs, and with help from some of the whacky characters, he does, of course, find love with Beauty
The auditions will be taking place on Friday 6th September at 7.30pm and Saturday 7th September at 3.00pm at The Javea Players Studio in Carrer del Cronista Figueres Pacheco, althought those who are keen to audition but cannot attend those dates can request an alternative date and time.
