Hotels along the coast of the Comunidad Valenciana forecast almost 78% occupancy for July
Benidorm stands out with a forecasted occupancy of 88% during July.

Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has announced that the average occupancy forecast for hotels along the coast of the Comunidad Valenciana during the month of the July is expected to reach almost 78%, 2.4% more than during the same period in 2022.
The regional government agency has produced the forecast from the results of a survey of a representative sample of hotels across the three provinces of the region. In addition, hotels in the interior forecast an average occupancy of more than 65% during July, which is over 18% more than the same month last year.
The regional secretary for Tourism, Francesc Colomer, said that “the sector as a whole expects higher figures for July than last summer with peaks that will be close to 90%, especially in Benidorm”. He added that he expects the 2023 summer season to be “very dynamic and which will reiterate the consolidation of the full recovery of tourism”.
He said that “the loyalty of the domestic market, together with the push in the international markets, in addition to the quality and excellence of the services and tourist offer of the Comunidad Valenciana, are key for this season”.
The results of the survey show that hotels on the coast of the Province of Castellón expect to reach 65.5% of average occupancy, 12% more than last year, whilst the coast of the Province of Valenciana expects 78.5% of its hotel beds to be occupied. The coast of the Province of Alicante – the Costa Blanca – expects an average occupancy rate of 77.2%.
Benidorm, the tourist jewel of the region, forecasts that 88% of its hotels beds will be occupied during July, 3% more than 2022, whilst the city of Valencia forecasts an average occupancy rate of 77%, 2.8% higher than July 2022.
