Granadella shuttle train service returns for summer season

The daily service will run from Saturday 29th June until Sunday 15th September.


The Departments of Beaches and Transportation has confirmed that the Granadella shuttle train service will resume for the summer season after meeting with the winning company which bid for the contract to provide the service.

The service begins Saturday 29th June and will transport bathers and tourists from the parking zone of Urbanización La Guardia Park to Cala Granadella throughout the summer until Sunday 15th September. Adults will pay 5 euros whilst children under 12 years old and large families will pay 2.50 euros.

The daily timetable will be as follows:

  • Departures from Urbanización La Guardia Park: 09:00 / 09:50 / 10:40 / 11:30 / 12:20 / 13:10 /14:00 / 14:50 — 16:00 / 16: 50 / 17:40 / 18:30 / 19:20.
  • Departures from Cala Granadella: 09:25 / 10:15 / 11:05 / 11:55 / 12.45 / 13.35 / 14:25 / 15:15 — 16:25 / 17:15 / 18:05 / 18: 55 / 19:45.

The current contract will last one year with the possibility of an extension for a further year, for which the contractor will be required to pay the town hall a fee of 1,500 euros.
