FULL PROGRAMME FOR EASTER CRAFT FAIR 2024
There will be a new feature on Saturday, a local organic agricultural fair selling local products.
FOR more than 40 years, Easter in Xàbia has been linked to the fabulous craft fair that fills the streets and squares of the historic centre, an epicentre for unique, handmade products, excellent gastronomy, live music and workshops. And the fair is enhanced by the mini-fiesta provided by the town’s groups and associations in the Plaça de l’Esglèsia on the morning of Easter Sunday, a tradition that cannot be missed.
However, Easter 2024 also has a new feature, the addition of the Local Organic Agriculture Fair to complement the craft fair.
Friday 29th March 2024
08:30 – Traditional hot chocolate accompanied by the MONA easter cake for all the participants of the early morning Stations of the Cross procession in the Mercado Municipal Xàbia (the “indoor market”).
12:00 – Inauguration of the EASTER CRAFT FAIR with the Colla Xirimitab’s.
12:30 – Concert ‘La Joia Més Preada‘, a story by Pepa Guardiola with music provided by the Colla Xirimitab’s. [Plaça de l’Esglèsia].
18:00 – A show for all the family ‘Una de Contes‘ with stories and live music provided by the Rodamons Teatre [Placeta del Convent].
Saturday 30th March 2024
10:00 – Local Agricultural Fair (fruits, vegetables, oil, wine, honey, jam, etc.) until 20:00. [Plaza de la Iglesia].
11:00 – Demonstration of FER LLATA (esparto grass weaving) in the agricultural fair [Plaza de la Iglesia].
11:30 – WORKSHOP: Beeswax Candle Making for Children. Maximum 15, reservations can be made via WhatsApp on 667 690 785. [Plaza de la Iglesia].

18:00 – SHOW: ‘Ronda de contes: I tu què contes’. A show made for all those who want to participate with their stories, anecdotes, poems, sayings and more. A space where anyone can express what they want in relation to stories, traditions and memory, a time to share between parents, children, grandparents and friends, and the company of Rodamons Teatre. Come with your story. [Placeta del Convent].
18:00 – SHOW: Traditional music and dancing of the Marina Alta with the Grup de Danses Portitxol [Plaza de la Iglesia].
Sunday 31st March 2024
All morning – The meeting of peñas, groups and associations of Xàbia around the church of San Bartolomé.
12:00 – SHOW: ‘Carrer Amunt’. A little music with your shopping provided by the Rodamons Theatre.
17:30 – TARDEO PASQUA organised by the Fogueres Commission with DJs Raúl Albi and Esteve Bas. There will be a bar service providing drink and snacks. Until midnight. [Plaza de la Constitución].
18:00 – SHOW: ‘Poesia i Cançó’. Poems and songs to close the Easter weekend provided by the Rodamons Theatre. [Placeta del Convent].
Monday 1st April 2024
11:00 – CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS: Board Games made with clay and painting on ceramics, led by Terrissería Inma Juan i Francis Benitez-Tambor de Luna [Plaza de la Iglesia].
12:00 – SHOW: Lindy Hop Dancing and Social, provided by the students of La Marina Lindy Hop. [Placeta del Convent].
In addition, the SOLER BLASCO MUNICIPAL MUSEUM will be open Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday between 10.00am and 1.30pm.
