Four venues in Xàbia receive Repsol’s ‘Soletes de Verano’ award
The awards recognise the best places for an authentic and affordable summer experience that would not usually appear in standard Repsol listings.

The Repsol Guide has recently published a new list of recommended beach bars and businesses that are ideal for enjoying these hot summer months. The so-called ‘Soletes de Verano’ were inaugurated to highlight the best places for an authentic and affordable summer experience that would not usually appear in the standard Repsol listings.
They have included beach bars, sea-facing terraces and venues in the middle of the forest as well as corners which offer a respite from the heat of the city and ice cream parlours that offer more than a thousand flavours. Repsol describes the list as “unexpected places in the middle of a valley, terraces by natural pools, tables by rivers, by the sea and also in cities, sheltered from the heat. Where simplicity and environment are key to feeling so comfortable”.
More than 250 have been awarded across Spain of which 40 are located in the Comunidad Valenciana, four of which are in Xàbia:
- Bali Cafe (Viveros Montgó Verd)
- The Beach House (Port de Xàbia)
- La Bandideta (Cala Granadella)
- Chiringuito La Caleta (Cala Blanca)
Along with these, the Marina Alta is also represented by ‘A La Fresca’ in Dénia and ‘Mare Beach Restaurant’ in Calpe.
