Four positions available in Xàbia’s indoor market
Those interested have until the end of October to submit their applications.
Four vacant positions in the indoor market have been made available after the Department of Economic Revitalization opened the tender process for interested parties to bid for them.
Interest parties have until Monday 30th October to submit their proposals for business types related to foodstuffs (butcher, prepared foods, wines and drinks, charcuterie, nuts, baking and pastries, fresh fish, salted meats, pickles, poultry and game, eggs, etc.) as well as complementary types such as pharmaceutical and perfumes, florist, ice cream parlour or takeaway food.
Applicants must bid at least 1,855.96 euros for the position and those who make the best offers will be successful. Then they must assume the same obligations as current stallholders, including a quarterly fee of 500 euros payable to the Council, which is calculated according to meters, including electricity and water usage.
The responsible councillor Juanlu Cardona explained that the local government team “is working to give the Municipal Market the importance and relevance it has every day, the first thing to do is try to have an activity in all the positions, and with different measures to energize it”.
