Festes Loreto 2024 · Emotional procession of the image of Santísimo Cristo del Mar
The image was carried through the streets of members of Penya La Barca del Pailebot.
The streets of Duanes de la Mar were filled with devotion and solemnity as the celebrations of one of the most emotional and religious events of the festivities in honour of the Virgin of Loreto took place, the procession of the image of Santísimo Cristo del Mar, accompanied by hundreds of residents and visitors carrying their candles to light the way.
The procession was attended by numerous local associations, fiesta committees, representatives of the town’s fiestas and representatives from the local council. The image was carried by members of the Penya ‘La Barca del Pailebot’ with great respect and dedication.
