A group of students from enDanza Dance Academy will be representing Xàbia and Spain in the European heat of the National Dance Championships which will be taking place over the weekend of November 3rd-5th in Tarragona, Cataluña.

These young dancers have had to overcome several phases, including at regional and national levels, in both of which they received the best scores in their category and qualifying for the European heats.

A representative from the academy said that it has not been easy to reach this phase against many participants and a high level of skill, with very few being selected to represent Spain at the European heats since this is the phase in which there are only advanced and pre-professional dancers and only the best can reach it. The young dancers from Xàbia have achieved that goal through their passion for dance, effort and hard work.

Representing their town has been an immense source of pride for them, so representing Spain at the European heats is even more so. The students will be travelling to Tarragona with their teacher Carmen Villanueva, hoping to achieve a good result, although they are very award that it will be complicated. However, getting to this position has already been a great triumph.

The individual dancers are Kornelia Lipka (9 years old), Neus Palacios (10), and Blanca Díaz (11) whilst the 14-16 years old forming the group dance “Welcome to Pandroa” are: Chloe Bun, Kamyla Damiano, Aroa Marzal, Ariadna Moscardó, Sofía Sánchez, Tania Ferrer, Yelitza Aranzazu, Mar Palacios, Sofía Clark, Zuzanna Jasinska, Sarah Cardona, Tess Droste and Cristina Nikopolou.
