The draw has been made for the First Round of the third edition of the FFCV La Nostra Copa, a regional cup competition inspired by the English FA Cup which provides a route for lower league regional sides to play in the national Copa del Rey.
A total of 286 teams from the First, Second and Third FFCV Leagues will be taking part in the opening round and the subsequent two knockout rounds before the sides from the elite Lliga Comunitat, the highest level of regional football of which CD Jávea is part, join the competition at the Fourth Round stage.
The draw for the first three rounds is regionalised to minimise costs whilst also generating some local derbies between teams from different leagues that might not exist otherwise. In addition, the dates of the rounds have been chosen to encourage the maximum atmosphere in the stadiums with weekends or fiesta days selected.
The ties are played at the home ground of the lower ranked side. There will be no extra time and if the scores are level at the end of 90 minutes, there will be a penalty competition.

Previous Winners
2021-2022 · CD L’Alcora
CD L’Alcora entered a SM Copa del Rey Inter-Territorial Round for the champions of each of the 20 regional football federations and were drawn against CD Ceuta 6 de Junio from the autonomous city of Ceuta on the coast of North Africa. Travelling across the Mediterranean to another continent, the Valencian side carved out a comfortable 3-0 victory to set up a Preliminary Round home tie against Elche CF. The First Division side travelled to Villarreal where the tie was to be played in front of 2,500 spectators and ran out 3-0 winners.
CD Jávea travelled down the coast to CF UD Calpe for a Fourth Round tie but a largely experimental side was crushed 4-1.
2022-2023 · CD Soneja
CD Soneja will enter the national cup competition at the same level as CD L’Alcora the previous season. The draw has not yet been made.
CD Jávea defeated CE Pedreguer in the Third Round but were thrown out of the competition after it was decreed that the rojiblancos had fielded an ineligible player.
