Comedian and monologuist Txabi Franquesa comes to Xàbia to support Fogueres 2022

The commission of the Fogueres de Sant Joan de Xàbia has organised a performance of the comedian and monologuist Txabi Franquesa on Friday 6th August at 10.00pm in the Plaza de la Constitución. Tickets are priced at 10 euros and the proceeds will be helping the commission to fund the extraordinary two weeks of fiesta next June that will be Fogueres 2022.

Txabi Franquesa has been a writer-performer on La Sexta’s ‘Club de la Comedia’ for the past four seasons but has a wide range of skills as an actor, comedian, presenter, clown, reporter, monologue writer, screenwriter, musician, master or ceremonies and, according to his biography, he can made a wonderful Spanish tortilla … with onion, of course.

Tickets for the performance – which will be in Spanish – will be on sale at the Casal de Fogueres in Plaza de la Constitución (the old police station) from 7.00pm to 8.30pm from Monday 26th July until Friday 30th July.
