Three numbers bought in Xàbia can claim the fifth prize of 60,000 euros (6,000 euros per décimo).
Christmas has arrived and for many people across Spain, it has arrived a couple of days early after the famous Loteria Nacional de Navidad – “EL GORDO” – concluded with the number 88008 matching the top prize of 4 million euros. It took over four hours for the big prize to appear, a new record for the festive draw.
The beauty of this type of draw is that the top prize is shared across the country with the winning number having been bought in all corners of Spain, including Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, A Coruña, Granada, Murcia, Salamanca, Bilbao as well as many places across the Comunidad Valenciana, including Benidorm, Torrevieja and the autonomous capital itself.
Three fifth prizes worth 60,000 euros per series (or 6,000 euros per décimo) have been won by lucky punters who bought their numbers – 88979, 01568 & 86007 – in the lottery administration office in Calle Santísimo Cristo del Mar in Xàbia port.
