CHRISTMAS FAIR WILL ENLIVEN HEART OF THE HISTORIC CENTRE THIS SATURDAY
The fair will be open 10.00am to 6.00pm Saturday 16th in the Plaça de l’Esglèsia.
The Xàbia Històrica trade association kicks off their festive programme this weekend with a new edition of their Christmas Fair, known locally as the ‘FIRETA DE NADAL’, which will be taking place this Saturday 16th December around the Plaça de l’Esglèsia in the heart of the historic centre between 10.30am and 6.00pm.
The fair will feature a number of charities and social association based in Xàbia as well as 0km producers which will invite residents and visitors alike to develop a commitment to local and indigenous initiatives.
Visitors to the fair will be able to learn first hand about the work carried out throughout the year by up to ten local charities and collectives in the municipality. In addition to offering information about the values and interests that drive them, they will all have Christmas products available to buy as a means of donation to their causes which will have been hand-made by themselves and their members. There will also be 0km proximity producers offering their products from fruits and vegetables to wine, olive oil, honey and handmade jams.
The fair will also have entertainment for the little ones with a children’s Christmas craft workshop and face painting between 11.00am and 1.30pm.
