Become a member of CD Jávea and support the team in the new elite category

With the new season just over two weeks away, CD Jávea has opened a new campaign to encourage football fans in the town to come out and support the club by becoming members – “socios” – and assist the club in its bid to consolidate itself in the elite Lliga Comunitat.

Being a “socio” means that a supporter will have voting rights in the club (meaning they can vote in club president & club board elections) as well as free entry to all home games (except the nominated “club day” home game in which socios will pay a reduced entry fee). In essence, being a “socio” means that you will become the main and essential part of the project to take the club forward after the amazing success of last season.

Head coach Julio Ivorra did an amazing job to guide the side away from the bottom of the table to claim a place in the inaugural Lliga Comunitat, the elite level of regional football in the Comunidad Valenciana. Over 1,500 spectators squeezed into the main stand on the final game of the season to watch the side condemn champions CF Ontinyent 1931 to only their second defeat of the season and spark some amazing and emotional scenes at the final whistle. And now CD Jávea wants to build of this success and enthusiasm for the local football club.

Speaking to Golsmedia, Ivorra said: “We are going to play each game with the utmost enthusiasm and effort and try to play good football [to encourage] fans want to come to the stadium to watch the team because they like what they see. I always say that football is played for the fan.”

Tomorrow Thursday 24th August, CD Jávea will be playing a friendly game against UE L’Alcudia at the Campo d’Esports Municipal and supporters will be able to sign up for membership for the 2023-24 season.

Prices are:

• 50 euros – Standard Membership
• 25 euros – Senior Citizens, Young Adults (18-25) and Supporters
