Arts Society Marina Alta presents Andy Warhol: An Illustrated Lecture

The Arts Society Marina Alta (TASMA) invites you to this rags to riches story of the King of Pop Art, Andy Warhol.

Andy Warhol is known today as the “King of Pop Art”. He embraced celebrity and consumerism and would become an American icon. Yet there is a lesser-known side of him; the shy, gay son of an immigrant family, whose prolific and experimental art enabled a counterculture that would play a major role in modern art. Don’t miss this incredible success story presented by Alejandra Carazo.

The lectures will take place on Wednesday 5th March at the Espai la Senieta in Moraira at 11.00am (doors open at 10.15am) and at the Casa de Cultura in Plaça del Baix in the heart of the historic centre of Xàbia at 7.30pm (doors open at 6.45pm).

Both lectures are priced at 10 euros for guests (prepaid donation) but are free for members of The Arts Society and seats can be booked in advance by contacting the Arts Society by email at marinaalta@theartssociety.org or online here.
