Arenal Medical Clinic opens its doors for the summer season
The clinic will be open from June 21st until September 5th, 10.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

The Arenal Medical Clinic has opened its doors for the summer season in Jávea Park. From June 21st until September 5th, it will be able to provide health coverage to residents of the Arenal zone as well as the many visitors who will be arriving over the coming weeks, swelling the population of the area.
The clinic has extended its season this year, adding two further weeks in June and an extra week in September so it will provide health coverage for three months.
What hasn’t changed is the opening hours, which is 10.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and from 10.00am to 3.00pm on Saturday. The clinic will be closed on Sunday. The telephone number is 96 646 71 65.
All necessary health measures will be in place for the current situation, including hand disinfection at the entrance, the guarantee of minimum interpersonal distances between people, and the use of a face mask since it is a closed interior space.
Mayor José Chulvi has declared the opening of this seasonal clinic as a “reason for joy because [it provides] an improvement in the services offered by the municipality, especially in terms of health which, after the last year, has become more essential than ever”. He thanked “the work, the effort and the attitude of the health professionals to ensure that we can overcome the pandemic” and highlighted what this means for Xàbia to be able to face the summer season.
The manager of Dénia Health Department, Luis Carretero, wanted to highlight that the success in facing the pandemic and vaccination in the Marina Alta, which has been the result of collective work between the health authorities and the public administration. “Teamwork among all institutions differentiates us from other regions.”
Carretero placed great value on the opening of the Arenal Medical Clinic “as one more example that, little by little, we are recovering normality and that we will receive visitors and be able to provide improve medical attention”.
The mayor recognised that a permanent medical clinic in the Arenal to provide health care to an particularly large nucleus that is the gateway to numerous widely-scattered complexes is becoming a neccesity. “The number of people who live in the surroundings and in the zone of the Arenal and the provision of services must be consistent so it is certain that in the end it will be come a permanent centre”.
In reference to the permanent location of the El Arenal medical clinic to provide health care to an especially large nucleus that is the gateway to numerous widely scattered games, the mayor has recognized that it is a necessity given that “the number of of people who live in the surroundings and in the area of influence of El Arenal and the provision of services must be consistent, so it is certain that in the end it will become a permanent centre”.
