ARENAL CHRISTMAS FAIR: OPENING TIMES AND PRICES
The Christmas Fair will be open until Sunday 7th January and from this Friday it will be open all day.
The Arenal zone of Xàbia has joined in the festive spirit of Christmas with the inauguration of the first Christmas Fair which includes, amongst other great attractions for all the family, an ice rink.
The holiday zone has become a centre of cultural attractions outside of the busy summer months with the hosting of the latest Regional Stock Fair and the recent Arenal Blues Battle of the Bands. Now, the Christmas Fair, which is located on the large parking lot at the southern end of the promenade, brings something for all the family, including entertainment for the children, fun rides, craft stalls selling festive products, food stalls, and much more.
In addition, the fair will be welcoming the visit of Santa Claus on Saturday 23rd December at 5.30pm as well as the opportunity for the youngsters to post their letters to the Three Kings in the special royal post boxes that will be installed next week.
As well as the synthetic ice rink, the small fair features several funfair rides, face painting and balloon twisting workshops, and several wooden cabins offering different types of Christmas products, including mulled wine and chocolate with churros.
The Christmas Fair has been a prime objective of the Arenal Xàbia trade association since it gathered momentum in recent years and its president Alfonso Pinel expressed his hope that it will serve as an incentive for residents to come and learn more about what the Arenal zone has to offer.
