Arenal businesses join with Empark to offer parking for 5 euros a day in the beach zone
The secure plot has space for 75 vehicles and is just 200m from the sandy beach.

The Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Playa del Arenal de Xàbia, integrated into the Federation of Entrepreneurs and Organizations of Xàbia, has opened a long-stay car-park in the Arenal beach zone so that customers and tourists can leave their cars in a safe environment, monitored 24 hours a day, while enjoying the beach and all the shops in the area.
With the help of Empark, and the support of Xàbia Council, visitors will be able to park all day on a plot on the corner of Calle San Rafael and Avenida de París for 5 euros. The car-park offers about 75 spaces for vehicles.
In addition, visitors, customers and residents will be able to park in another car-park in Calle Nancy for 1.50 euros per hour.
The business association in the Arenal have explained that the agreement with the specialized company includes discounts on the parking rate for all clients of businesses attached to the association.
It has also explained that the modification of the site will also prevent botellones taking place on it, a feature which has multiplied with the arrival of the summer.
