From this week, COVID-19 vaccinations will be administered to those people who request them and who meet the minimum established criteria to receive them. Appointments can be made through the Virtual Counter hosted on the website www.marinasalud.es (the system is available in Spanish, Valencian, English, German and Russian) or by sending an email to counter.virtual@marinasalud.es.

The vaccine will be available at their local health centre for the following:

  • 1st dose for those aged 12 years and over.
  • 2nd dose for those needing to complete the required schedule.
  • Booster dose for people aged 18 years and over (2004).

Those people who can’t attend their health centre during the week, such as students who are located in other towns and cities, are offered the opportunity to get vaccinated at Dénia Hospital on Saturday 19th February.

In addition, the vaccination of children aged between 5 and 11 years continues in schools across the Marina Alta.

The Director of Care and Services at DSD, Natalia Casado, has also reminded people of the region of the importance of making an appointment for vaccination when the criteria established by the health authorities are met.

For many years, you’ve told us how much you love what we’re doing and some of you have even asked for ways to say thanks. For us, there really is nothing easier to show someone how much you appreciate their efforts than buying them a beer (or a wine; or even a coffee) – it’s so simple.
