The 2022 edition of the annual Christmas Elf Run, organised every year by the Lancashire Bruja and which took place during the afternoon of last Saturday 10th December, raised a total of 858.46 euros for the Raquel Paya Special Needs School in Dénia.
Twenty-one Elves, Santas and even a Grinch took part in a fun-filled afternoon which included the never-ending quiz questions, letter-hunting, Christmas song singing and the all-important bucket shaking to encourage donations.
The organisers Stephen and Christina have expressed their gratitude to Geographic, Digby’s, Richmond and King’s Bar for participating in the elf run as well as the restaurants along the Arenal promenade who allowed them to “invade” the dining areas to collect more cash.
At the end of the day, the 2022 Quiz Winners were the Three Elfeteers (Sue, Laura and Lee) whilst the bucket collection winners for this year were Charlie’s “Old” Elf Angels (Sue, Tina, Mary and Summer).
