Almost 70% of over 64s in the Marina Alta have been vaccinated against flu
This year’s campaign was run alongside the third booster shot for COVID-19.

The Dénia Health Department (DSD) has reported that 68.98% of those aged over 64 in the Marina Alta have been vaccinated against flu during the 2021-2022 campaign which, this year, was administered together with the third dose of vaccine against COVID-19.
The first group to receive both vaccines were the elderly in residences, followed by those aged over 70 as well as health and social health personnel. In the last two groups, vaccination in the Marina Alta reached 100% of the professionals.
By basic health zones, those over 64 populations who have been vaccinated the most have been from Pedreguer (82.44%), Pego (81.05%), El Verger (80.48%), Ondara (79.91%), Gata de Gorgos (77.77%) and Orba (72.36%).
