A ‘puente weekend’ filled with culture
The weekend is marked by a performance from prestigious pianist Marta Espinós.

Xàbia Council has announced further details of the cultural and leisure programme for this long ‘puente‘ weekend, events that will be held with all the required health security measures in place. All activities are free but pre-registration is required by telephone using the numbers given below.
Friday 4th December
Guitarist Paul Alcaide will be presenting his CD book ““Arrels: Música Antigua y Tradicional” with a concert at 6.30pm in the multipurpose room in the Port Library. Pre-registration is required by calling 96 646 26 52.
Friday 4th, Saturday 5th & Monday 7th December
In the grounds of the Ruirau d’Arnauda, the Department of Youth has planned several sessions of the scape room “Psicokiller en el riurau”, an activity aimed at young people aged between 12 and 18 that will be complemented by a 0,0 cocktail workshop organized by the addictive behaviour prevention unit. Saturday 5th December
Prestigious pianist Marta Espinós will be returning to her home town to give a special concert entitled “Beethoven Influencer. La huella de Ludwing: De los Beatles al rap”. There will be two performances inside the historic church of San Bartolomé; the first will be at 4.00pm in the Castilian language, and the second at 9.00pm in Valencian. The audience will enjoy a recital which reveals the influence of the German composer in different genres and musical periods. Pre-registration is required on 96 579 43 44.
Sunday 6th December
At 12 noon, in the grounds of the Riurau d’Arnauda in Parque Montaner, there will be acrobatics, juggling and music provided by the entertainers of La Trócolo Circ in their show “Emportats”. Pre-registration is required on 95 579 43 44.
Tuesday 8th December
At 12 noon, in the grounds of the Riurau d’Arnauda in Parque Montaner, the musicians of the Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia (CAM) will be performing its annual concert in honour of the patron saint of musicians. Pre-registration is required on 95 579 43 44.
