Gabriel Sapena begins fourth term as justice of the peace
The position is important in mediating and seeking common agreement in civil conflicts in the town, amongst others.

Gabriel Sapena Salines has begun his fourth term as justice of the peace in Xàbia and mayor José Chulvi attended his official inauguration which confirms the position on Friday.
Sapena was unanimously re-elected by the council during the last plenary session and he signed the formal act of possession on Friday morning before the secretary of the Court.
The mayor wished Sapena the best for his fourth term and highlighted his level of commitment to the position, his experience, and his knowledge of the social reality in Xàbia.
He also highlighted the importance of justices of the peace in mediating and seeking common agreement in conflicts, in addition to their institutional role and in other procedures related to the civil registry.
