Spain takes delivery of 328,800 doses of Moderna vaccine
This delivery adds to the 1,241,370 new doses of the Pfizer vaccine that arrived at the beginning of this week.

The Ministry of Health received a total of 328,800 new doses of the Modern vaccine against COVID-19 on Thursday which will be distributed among the autonomous communities from today. The arrival of this batch adds to the 1,241,370 new doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine that was delivered at the beginning of this week.
The arrival of these vaccines represents the expected increase in the second quarter of this year, which, as announced this week by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, will be 3.5 times more doses than the first quarter; an increase contemplated in the national vaccination strategy that will help save lives, recover the economy and social life.
More than 3 million people have completed vaccination
The latest vaccination report shows that 9,811,529 doses have been administered (81.8% of those delivered), as well as that an absolute record of doses administered in a single day has been reached, with 453,682 more than Wednesday. In addition, 3 million people have been received two doses of the vaccine, with a total of 3,020,450 people with the complete vaccination schedule (78,619 more than Wednesday).
Regarding the objective of the Vaccination Strategy to protect the most vulnerable, the report highlights that 87.4% of people over 80 years of age have already received one dose and 49.2% the full course.
