The Valencian Football Federation (FFCV) has confirmed via its website that it has extended the suspension of training and competition after the announcement by the Generalitat Valenciana that restrictions to fight the spread of COVID-19 has been modified and extended until at least February 15th.

It said that, at the moment, the football world in the Comunidad Valenciana supports the efforts of the regional government as it could not be otherwise. Therefore all competitions and team training cannot be conducted at regional level, but national category teams may continue to train and compete, always complying with all necessary health protocols.

Once the restrictions are lifted, the FFCV has announced that it is planning to allow two weeks of training before the return to competitive football. In addition, the Federation wanted to thank the maturity and strength with which the football and futsal world are facing the difficult circumstances caused by the pandemic.

CD Jávea have not played a competitive game since a 0-0 draw away at CF La Nucia ‘B’ at the end of November 2020. The side currently sit 4th in the table with two games in hand over league leaders CFI Alicante.
