The Kings visit Xàbia
Their majesties rode on horseback around Xàbia, waving to children who saluted them from the balconies.

A very different Christmas season comes to an end as is tradition with the arrival of Three Kings – Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar – who found the time to rise around Xàbia on horseback to greet excited children (and adults) to whom they would be delivering presents a few hours later.
It was a very simple visit. This year there was no magical arrival by fishing boat, no colourful processions, no bags full of sweets and wagons packed with presents, no fireworks, and certainly no crowds. Instead, the children and their families had to be content with waving at their Majesties from their balconies and doorways as they passed by, loudspeakers playing festive music to try and keep that magic alive just a little bit.
