Xàbia Council seeks to promote and modernise Department of Human Resources
The new job offers approved by the council will facilitate a boost to the modernisation, organisation and improvement of the services offered by the local administration.
Xàbia Council has approved a proposal to offer 31 job vacancies distributed between civil servants and labour personnel with the aim of strengthening the strategic areas of the municipality, solving the administrative paralysis and offering a better service to the citizens.
At the same time, the professional career ladder for all employees in the town hall has also been approved, a policy that aims at the training and motivation of public employees as well as encouraging their commitment to their roles since it improves their recognition and professional development without changing jobs.
The approval of the vacancies responds to the needs detected in different municipal areas and is part of the objective of strengthening and improving local public services. In the coming months, a new list of positions will be available that will allow an improvement in all municipal departments, where more than 100 vacancies have been detected which have not been filled for years.
The Public Employment Offer will be published shortly in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Alicante (BOP) and in the Official Journal of the Comunidad Valenciana (DOGV).
The councillor responsible for Human Resources, Fátima Jarjor (PP), highlighted the importance of this proposal: “This approval represents a step forward in the commitment of the Xàbia Council to strengthen municipal services and ensure that we have the necessary staff to meet the demands of our citizens. In addition, we have prioritised key profiles that will improve the quality and efficiency of public services”.
