Xàbia launches 2024 Christmas Campaign “A Xàbia of Hope and Solidarity”
The festive programme kicks off on December 5th with the festive lights switch on and ends a month later with the arrival of the Three Kings.
Xàbia Council has launched its Christmas campaign under the slogan “Una Xàbia d’esperança i solidaritat. Nadal 2024” (“A Xàbia of hope and solidarity. Christmas 2024”) with a clear message of solidarity and support towards those affected by the DANA that recently hit the province of Valencia. This initiative seeks to transmit hope on these significant dates, reaffirming Xàbia’s commitment to those who need it most.
This year’s campaign stands out for being the result of a joint effort: all the Christmas programming, designed by the different departments of the City Council, has been unified into a single programme accessible to all residents and visitors. In this way, participation in the numerous activities designed for all ages is facilitated, from children’s workshops to charity concerts, as well as fairs, theatre and, of course, the traditional Christmas celebrations.

Inauguration of the Hebrew Nativity scene. Organised by the Xàbia Nativity Scene Association. There will also be nativity scenes installed in the Town Hall building, Local Police and the Port’s Tourist Office until January 7th 2025.

The Blue, Red and Green Emissaries of the Three Wise Men will walk through the streets of Aduanas del Mar to the Parish of Loreto, where they will collect the letters with the wishes of all the children. The Festival Committee will sweeten the afternoon by offering hot chocolate.

The Three Wise Men will arrive at the Port of Xàbia by boat. There we will be able to welcome them with enthusiasm. After disembarking, the Parade will begin, which will go through the streets of Aduanas and will end on Avenida Jaume I, where the Kings will welcome all the attendees. Afterwards, the parade will continue along Calle Juan Carlos I, Avenida de Alicante, Ronda Norte, Príncipe de Asturias, to Plaza del Convento, where the Three Wise Men will address the children to share a few moments with the true protagonists of the party.
