Xàbia’s Endanza Studio enjoys success in European Dance Finals in Rome
The dance academy claimed the second best performance in Europe as well as a third place in the Hip Hop category.
Young dancers from the Endanza Dance Studio have won two awards at the European Dance Finals in Rome. Having passed through both regional and national competitions, the 30 dancers travelled to Italy at the beginning of November, representing both Spain and Xàbia, and were proclaimed the second best company in Europe whilst also featuring well in the Hip Hop category.
Facing a tough jury, the group proved to be one of the best dance companies in Europe, claiming the runners-up spot for their performance of ‘El Vuelo del Alma’, a fusion-style piece, whilst their fantastic choreography ‘Space Jam’ won them a well-deserved third place in the Hip Hop category.
In addition, Aroa Marzal claimed an outstanding third place in the individual category, all the results being suitable reward for the dedication and effort of teacher and choreographer Carmen Villanueva.
It should be noted that the young women performed their best choreography thinking about the situation that the Comunidad Valenciana was experiencing in the face of the DANA events, which occurred at the same time as they were performing in Italy..
