MATCH REPORT: Mutxamel CF 0-1 CD Jávea
A goal from Ife after just 10 minutes secured an opening day victory for the rojiblancos.
CD Jávea started the season on the right foot by beating Mutxamel CF in a difficult match in which intensity was the key to success. Under the direction of Julio Ivorra, the Xabieros took to the field with determination, dominating a rival who could not hide the nerves of their debut in front of their fans.
The winning goal came early, in the 10th minute, when Ofi managed to beat the local goalkeeper, Samuel, with a precise shot. This point provided a dose of tranquility to the visitors, who knew how to maintain their advantage for the rest of the match. Despite Mutxamel CF’s attempts to equalize the score with a direct game, the team from the Marina Alta was solid in defense.
In the second half, Ivorra reinforced the midfield with strategic changes that gave his players confidence, allowing them to resist the attacks of the rival. In the end, CD Jávea took a deserved and hard-fought victory, adding three important points at the start of the campaign.
