What’s On This Weekend in Xàbia – 02/08/24 to 04/08/24

The first weekend in August offers a packed agenda of things to do in Xàbia, including fiesta celebrations on La Plana in honour of Our Lady of the Angels and the Xàbia Jazz international music festival as well as plenty of live music and entertainment options.

Friday 2nd August 2024

FESTES LA PLANA · Sanctuario de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles
A midday mass to mark the feast day of Our Lady of the Angels will be followed by a procession around the grounds of the sanctuary of La Plana. Later in the evening, there will be traditional dancing with the Grup de Danses Portitxol followed by a community dinner and dancing to the music of Pacific Blue.

An amazing family village every night during the summer, offering fun and games for all the family, a market, food and drink, and live music.

FERIA DE ARTESANÍA Craft Fair · 7.30pm to late · Paseo Joaquin Sorolla, Duanes de la Mar
Every night during the summer along the port promenade, talented artisans will be offering their hand-crafted goods to buy and some of them can even create personalised items while you wait.

Paquito de Rivera, winner of 16 Grammy Awards, will be accompanied by Pepe Rivero on piano, Reinier Elizarde “El Negrón” on double bass, Yuvisney Aguilar on percussion and Sebastián Laverde on vibraphone.
