CD Jávea allocated to Group 4 of Primera FFCV for 2024/25 season

The 2024/25 season will begin over the weekend of 7th/8th September.


The Federació de Futbol Comunitat Valenciana (FFCV) has published the composition of the four groups of the Primera FFCV, the second tier of regional football in the Comunidad Valenciana, in which CD Jávea will play after relegation from the elite FFCV Lliga Comunitat at the end of the last season.

CD Jávea has been placed in Group 4 and will be playing teams based almost exclusively in the southern half of the Provincia de Alicante, including fellow relegation sides Santa Pola CF and Callosa Deportiva CF as well as a few new opponents such as CD Betis Florida, CD Montesinos, CD Murada, CF Intercity “B”, CF Sporting San Fulgencio and Catral-Castrum CF.

Head coach Julio Ivorra and his team have already started building a side to compete for promotion back to the top tier next season, which begins on the weekend of September 7th/8th.

Players retained for another season including club captain Aldo Michan, veteran centre-half Víctor Caturla, striker José Cabo, leading scorer for the past two seasons, tricky midfielder Kristian Elián, striker Jorge ‘Pitu’ Gonzalez, midfielder Adrián Gil, defender Obinna Kenneth, and striker Ifeany Gabriel.

New signings include 30-year-old goalkeeper Fede Aguilar (L’Olleria CF) who returns to the club after making two appearances during the 2020/21 season, midfielders Joan Signes (23, Gorgos CF), Daniel Lugo (CF Benidorm “B”) and Leo Fagundez (30, CD Dénia), and Brazilian striker Gustavo Luccener (23, FK Garliava (Lithuania)).
