SPECIAL KINGS CONCERT CONCLUDES FESTIVE SEASON IN XÀBIA
The concert will be taking place at 5.30pm on Saturday 6th January in the church of San Bartolomé.
The talented young musicians of MARINAE ENSEMBLE has been charged with closing the special festive programme organised by the Department of Culture in Xàbia to celebrate the Christmas holidays. They will be offering a Three Kings concert on Saturday 6th January at 5.30pm in the historic-church of San Bartolomé in the heart of the historic centre.
The group explained that the concert will offer warmth, mutual understanding, friendship and affection for the music that all musicians that form the ensemble demonstrate with each performance. The repertoire will include works by Antonio Vivaldi as well as festive pieces such as ‘Carol of the Bells’, ‘Sleigh Bells Jingling’ and Mariah Carey’s classic ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’.
The concert closes the special festive programme that the Department of Culture in Xàbia organised for the Christmas season, a series of spectacular events and activities which, it says, have been “a complete success” in terms of participation and attendance as well as showcasing the high level of skill of the municipal groups of Xàbia.
