XÀBIA SHOPS READY TO HELP THREE KINGS AND SANTA CLAUS

Xàbia Council and the Federation of Organisations of Xàbia (FORAX) have got together to prepare an extensive programme for this festive period with a campaign that merges the brilliance that the municipality has with local businesses which will become Christmas’s little helpers.

The programme includes the visit of Santa Claus to all three urban centres, the visit of the Royal Emissaries of the Three Kings as well as the annual Christmas children’s sports season, the midday New Year’s Eve chimes, the inaugural San Silvestre dog run and the New Year’s Day charity swim on the Arenal beach.

And, as always, the festive season will conclude with a very special appointment for the little ones when the Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar arrive by fishing boat on Friday 5th January and make their annual parade through the town.

The most notable events are:

• Saturday 16th December: Xàbia Històrica Christmas Fair.
• Sunday 17th December: Santa Claus visits the Arenal.

• Saturday 23rd December: Santa Claus visits Duanes de la Mar.

17:00 – THE THREE KINGS ARRIVE in the Port de Xàbia by fishing boat. They will parade through the streets of Duanes de la Mar to Avenida Jaime I where they will meet with all the boys and girls. Afterwards, the procession will move to the historic centre via Avenida Juan Carlos I, Avenida de Alicante, Ronda Norte and Avenida Príncipe de Asturias to Placeta del Convent where their majesties will meet all the boys and girls who have been good.
