Loreto 2023: Avenida Lepanto closed to traffic for presentation ceremony
The presentation ceremony of the Loreto fiesta take place this weekend, the formal opening of the final big fiesta of the year.

Due to the presentation ceremony of the Festes Patronales Mare de Déu de Loreto which will be taking place on Saturday 26th August, the Avenida Lepanto will be closed to traffic between CEIP Port de Xàbia and Avenida dels Furs from 8.00am Friday 25th August.
As a consequence, the bus stops and taxi rank will be temporarily re-located between Friday 25th and Tuesday 29th August inclusive as follows:
BUS – The bus stops will be relocated as follows:
- Direction PUEBLO: The bus stop will be in Avenida Augusta between the fountain roundabout and the bridge over the river.
- Direction ARENAL: The bus stop will be in Avenida Lepanto outside Farmacía Salomé Martinéz.
TAXI – The taxi rank normally located outside Chino Hong Kong will be relocated to the other side of the dolphin roundabout, outside Farmacia Salomé Martínez.
The Policía Local will be putting out the necessary signs to re-direct traffic and ask for the collaboration of all residents and visitors as well as those driving vehicles during this coming weekend.
The closed section will be re-opened by 4.00pm Tuesday 29th August.
