New Year’s Day Charity Swim raises 2.700 euros

The organizers of the annual New Year’s Day Charity Swim have confirmed the total amount raised. As published by Christina and Stephen, owners of the Lancashire Bruja, and organizers of the event, they have been collecting donations until just a few days ago.
A total of 2,700.47 euros was raised which will be donated in equal parts to the Cruz Roja Jávea and Aspanion, the organization that helps families in the Comunidad Valenciana who have children with cancer.
The organizers have thanked “each and every one” of those who participated in the event, whether as an audience on the beach or as a sponsored swimmer.
