CB Joventut Xàbia holds XXXIII Memorial Miguel Buigues this Saturday
The basketball community in Xàbia will join together for three games and the traditional annual club photo.

Club de Basquet Joventut Xàbia will be holding the 33rd Miguel Buigues Memorial Meet this Saturday 11th December, a symbolic event in the club’s annual calendar in which the sporting and community sides of the membership come together to remember one of their players and founding members who died in August 1987 after an accident during training.
Starting at 5.00pm, the basketball family will gather at the Palau Municipal d’Esports in the port, a sports complex named in honour of Miguel Buigues Andrés, for an evening of sport with three matches, a junior make, a senior female and a senior make, as well as the taking of the traditional official club photo which will feature around 180 athletes.
Both CB Joventut Xàbia and the Department of Sports invite all basketball fans to come and join in with the sporting festive day, filling the stands of the sports centre to cheer on the local sides.
