The art historian, David Gutiérrez, will present the drawings, colour notes and paintings that Sorolla made around La Grava beach and how he represented the sea of Xàbia. 22:30h – Music: XXXV Festival Música a l’Estiu
Location: Iglesia de San Bartolomé, Xàbia Històrica
Price: Free
The ensemble of Clarinets Music Masters Course València and the MMCV Quintet will take part in a concert featuring works by Bach, Weber, Mozart and Spanish music, among others.. Professors Christophe Morin (cello), Helena Satue (violin), Juanlu Puelles (clarinet) and Vicente Alberola (conductor)will play with students from the United States and from all over Europe. Extraordinary concert by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia “La Música dels Escacs Vivents: 25 years of a National Tourist Interest Festival”, a commemoration of a pioneering initiative of Xàbia through the soundtrack that has dazzled the public in each of the performances. In addition, there will be a small exhibition of iconic pieces and there will be many surprises. Xàbia Red Cross and the local association Xàbia Neta Entre Tots have organised a voluntary cleaning day of the municipality’s coastline. The cleaning will progress along the coast to the Arenal beach where an environmental awareness point will be installed. Registration by phone 678 40 20.

Summer Concert of the Colla Xirimitab’s de Xàbia. Dolçaina and percussion fusing traditional and modern music.
