Throughout the week, a total of 134 private parties were broken up for failing to meet with both the local bylaw and specific regulations for the control of COVID-19. And, as reported earlier, the property owners are now being included as responsible subsidiary in investigations.
In addition, several botellones were broken up in several places across the municipality, including Avenida Libertad, Avenida Ultramar and Camí Cabanes. Police officers also confiscated several music systems.
On Friday and Saturday local officers joined with the Guardia Civil on the Paseo David Ferrer in Arenal beach to dismantle large groups of people who were gathering as the nightlife venues in the zone closed.
