Essence of the Moors and Christians returns to Xàbia with festive music concert
The CAM Youth Band offers a selection of Moorish and pasodoble marches this Saturday

This Saturday 17th July, festive music will sound again in Xàbia when the youth band of the Centre Artistíc Musical de Xàbia (CAM) will start in one of the events that every summer brings the motion of the Moors and Christians to the port in a special year in which, again, there will be no fiestas.
The concert, conducted by Joan Vallés, will take place in the courtyard to CEIP Port de Xàbia at 8.00pm and those who attend will be able to enjoy a selection of pasodobles and Moorish marches by some of the most recognized composers of the fiesta genre, such as José María Ferrero, José Pérez Vilaplana, Antonio Carrillos Colomina and Daniel Ferrero Silvaje.
Admission is free although there will be capacity control due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, so interested parties should reserve their place either via email reservacultura@ajxabia.org or telephone 96 579 43 44.
