200 rowers participate in Club Náutico de Jávea’s first Women’s Rowing Regatta
Teams from Dénia, Gandía, Valencia, Benidorm and Alicante joined together with local rowers from the Club Náutico de Jávea to compete in the regatta.

A total of 200 rowers participated in the first edition of the Women’s Rowing Regatta this Easter Monday organised by Club Náutico de Jávea in association with the Federación de Remo de la Comunitat Valenciana as well as the Asociación de Clubes Náuticos de la Comunitat Valenciana and the Department of Sports in Xàbia.
Teams from Dénia, Gandía, Valencia, Benidorm and Alicante joined together with local rowers from the Club Náutico de Jávea to compete over two heats on the bay of Jávea, racing in front of the beach of La Grava and the Primer Montañar.

The award ceremony was held in the new Sports Classroom of Club Náutico de Jávea and was attended by the general director of Ports of the Generalitat Valenciana, María Luisa Martínez, as well as the mayor, José Chulvi and the Councilor for Sports, Alberto Tur, the president of Club Náutico de Jávea , Arturo Miquel, Alejandro Ruiz, president of the Federación de Remo de la Comunitat Valenciana, as well as José Antonio Chapa, president of the Asociación de Clubes Náuticos de la Comunitat Valenciana.
