120 cyclists take part in the 4th stage of the Tour of the Marinas in Xàbia

The race also found the winner of the 2022 Trofeo San Sebastian.

A total of 120 cyclists completed the 67 kilometre route of the fourth stage of the Volta a la Marina that was held in Xàbia and also found the winner of the 2022 edition of the Sant Sebastià Patró de Xàbia trophy, an appointment in which Javier Benitez of Mister Bike-Gobik prevailed.

On a sunny day, the cyclists set a very high pace from the start in the Plaza de la Constitución, as it was a flat race, with an average speed of over 45km/h, according to the organization itself on its website.

So with everything, the best was Javier Benítez from Mister Biker-Gobik, second was David Serrano (Velosol Doltcini) and third was Ramón Domene (Your Bike-ULB Sport).

In girls, Mireia Orengo (Flores y Orengo) won, second was Saida Perea (Asbike.es) and third was Raquel Gisbert from Mister Biker–Gobik.

According to sources from the Club Ciclista Xàbia, the only local that participated was Miquel Pons; the best of the Xabia’s Bike FasterWear team was Andreu Aibar who came in 27th place, Ade Moll (69), Jordi Segui (88) and Dani Cepa (90).

The award ceremony was attended by the mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, and the president of the Club Ciclista Xàbia, José Luis Luengo.

General Classification

After four stages, Pedro José López and Mireia Orengo lead the classification of the 2022 edition of the Volta a la Marina.
